We are seeking a qualified Sterilisation Technician to join our high‑performing Sterilisation Services team supporting St Vincent’s, Lismore clinical departments.
This role is a critical part of the surgical process, requiring a strong eye for detail, the ability to meet time‑sensitive demands, and a collaborative approach to delivering safe, high‑quality outcomes.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment to support operating theatres and clinical services.
You will work closely with your team to ensure seamless workflow across multiple Operating Theatre areas, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and customer service within the sterilisation department.

About you
- Certificate III in Sterilising Services (HLT37015‑01) – essential
- Previous experience working as a Sterilisation Technician
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A commitment to continuous improvement and best practice
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
